Whether staging a home to appeal to prospective home buyers or redesigning a client's home for their own pleasure, my guiding principle is always "the needs of the client are paramount". When staging a house to sell that principle guides me to make the choices that will appeal to the widest audience and garner the greatest number of offers at top dollar.  When redesigning a client's home for your own use it insures that my design takes into account not just the WOW factor designers always look for but how you use the home, the entire family's daily needs, and what makes the house feel like a home. It also means that whether the project is staging or interior redesign, I always try to use what you have first and am always very conscious of your budget.
